Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets the ground rules for using our websites, app, and AI services (the “Service”). It forms part of the Terms & Conditions. If you violate this AUP, we may remove content, suspend or terminate your account, and take other action without refund.

1) Who this applies to

All users of the Service, including paying subscribers, trial/preview users (if any), and anyone accessing our domains or subdomains.

2) Core principles

Use the Service lawfully, responsibly, and with respect for others’ rights. Do not harm the Service, other users, or third parties. When in doubt, ask us at support@mockit.ai.

3) Prohibited content

You may not create, upload, or distribute any content (prompts, uploads, images/“Outputs,” text, metadata) that includes or facilitates:

  • Sexual content & minors: any nudity or sexual content; any depiction of minors or youthful-looking persons; sexualization of minors.
  • Hate & harassment: hate speech/symbols; dehumanization; severe harassment or threats; incitement to violence.
  • Violence & self-harm: graphic or gratuitous violence; celebration of injury; self-harm instructions or encouragement.
  • Illegal & dangerous activities: illicit drugs manufacturing or sale, explosives, detailed weapon construction, criminal instructions.
  • Privacy violations: doxxing, non-consensual surveillance, scraping personal data, sharing others’ private information.
  • Security abuse: malware, ransomware, keyloggers, exploits, or material designed to compromise networks or devices.
  • Deceptive manipulation: deepfakes of real people (including public figures); impersonation; undisclosed synthetic media intended to mislead; fraud.
  • IP infringement: unlicensed use of third-party copyrights, trademarks, or publicity rights.
  • Political persuasion: targeted political persuasion or influence operations (especially undisclosed AI-generated material).
  • Other harmful content: anything we reasonably determine to be abusive, harmful, or high-risk to users, third parties, or our Service.

Brand/trademark note: Requests that reproduce or closely mimic distinctive third-party marks/characters (e.g., luxury, entertainment, or sports franchises) are banned. Uploads must be your own or properly licensed. We do not provide IP clearance.

4) Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • Abuse the platform: bypass rate limits; run automated generation/scraping without consent; mass-download assets; attempt model extraction.
  • Reverse engineer: decompile, scan, or probe our systems, models, or APIs; benchmark for public disclosure without written permission.
  • Interfere: disrupt, overload, or degrade the Service; spam submissions; manipulate metrics; attempt unauthorized access.
  • Misrepresent: claim Outputs are wholly human-authored; remove notices; falsely imply our endorsement.
  • Resell/redistribute: resell or redistribute Outputs as stock, templates, or “as-is” asset packs; sublicense or multi-seat share beyond your license.
  • Train models: use our Outputs, prompts, or any derived artifacts to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI models or datasets.

5) Community & publication (future feature)

  • Community is curated: nothing is auto-published. Items must be approved by a moderator.
  • Users will be opted-in by default for potential inclusion; you may opt out anytime in your profile (feature coming soon).
  • We may remove or decline content for any reason, including quality, safety, or legal risk.

6) Your responsibilities (uploads & prompts)

  • You are responsible for everything you upload or prompt, even if the AI fills in details.
  • You must hold all rights (or valid licenses) to uploaded logos, graphics, and other materials.
  • You must follow all applicable laws where you operate and where your content is seen.

7) Reporting & appeals

  • Report violations: Email support@mockit.ai with links/IDs, a description, and any evidence.
  • Our response: We may remove or disable content promptly, request clarifications, or preserve data for investigation.
  • Appeals: If you believe we acted in error, reply to our notice. We’ll review and respond in a reasonable time.

8) Enforcement actions

Depending on severity and history, we may take one or more of the following, with or without notice:

  1. Content removal or edits
  2. Warnings or education
  3. Temporary suspension (feature or account)
  4. Immediate termination for egregious cases
  5. Forfeiture of remaining credits and denial of refunds
  6. IP address/device blocking
  7. Referral to law enforcement when required

We may retain and disclose information to comply with laws, enforce our Terms, and protect users.

9) Third-party rights & takedowns

We honor reasonable IP and privacy complaints. If you believe content infringes your rights, email support@mockit.ai with details (rights asserted, location/URL, your contact info, and a sworn good-faith statement). We may remove content while we assess the claim.

10) Safety, security & integrity

We may use automated and human review to detect abuse and ensure policy compliance. Attempting to circumvent these checks is prohibited.

11) Relationship to other documents

This AUP works alongside our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, and Commercial License. If there is a conflict specific to licensing of Outputs, the Commercial License controls.

12) Changes

We may update this AUP at any time. For material changes, we’ll email you or post in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
